Meet Dr. Mallory
“My favorite part of my job is seeing the patient's expression when the braces come off. Every patient is so thrilled, and it feels great to be a part of something so significant and exciting in their life."
Passion for Education
Dr. Mallory grew up with her family in Perry, Georgia. Since she was young, being an orthodontist has been her goal.
This led to her passion for education, which helped her achieve the honor of Valedictorian of her high school.
Today, Dr. Mallory is excited to serve the Newnan community, both by creating smiles and doing her part to support education and equality.
Education & Experience
Dr. Mallory spent her undergraduate career at the University of Georgia, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. From there, she attended dental school at the Medical College of Georgia where she met her partner, Dr. Jovas. Finally, Dr. Mallory completed her orthodontic residency at Seton Hill University.
Dr. Mallory is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, an accomplishment achieved by only about 40% of orthodontists in the nation.
Today, Dr. Mallory is thrilled to be working to create healthier smiles with one of her best friends. With her orthodontic expertise, Dr. Mallory can provide high-quality orthodontic care to patients of all ages!
Showing Love to Our Community
Throughout high school, college, and dental school, Dr. Mallory worked with various programs to tutor underserved populations. While student-teaching during her senior year of college, she taught physical science and honors biology at a local inner-city school.
Although she ultimately decided to pursue a career in orthodontics, Dr. Mallory is always looking for ways to advocate for education. One of her favorite things about being an orthodontist is having the opportunity to talk to children and parents about the importance of education!
Outside the Office
First and foremost, Dr. Mallory is a dog lover. She and Dr. Jovas even bring their doodles, Henri and Hugo, to the office!
They even made sure to have dedicated homes for their fur babies right here in our office. Be sure to say hello when you see them!
When she isn’t straightening smiles, Dr. Mallory loves trying new foods. She may not be the best cook, so you might find her checking out local restaurants on the weekends.
Fun Fact: Dr. Mallory is an avid walker and logged over 600 miles of outdoor walks last year alone!
